First Reach Clinic

CONSULTATIONS & FEES

Start with
a conversation.

We are preparing an online consultation service for recovery and wellbeing. Clinical consultations and prescribing are provided by Smiths Medical Group Ltd. This page explains the proposed approach; service scope, individual clinician profiles and appointment arrangements are being finalised before bookings open.

PROPOSED CARE PATHWAYS

Assessment, therapy
and ongoing support.

Explore how we are developing broader care for sleep, pain and anxiety. These pathways are in preparation; external therapy, programme and testing arrangements are not confirmed.

Different support.
Clear roles.

Medical assessment: a suitably qualified clinician from Smiths Medical Group Ltd assesses health concerns and whether investigations, treatment or referral may be appropriate. Prescribing, where clinically appropriate and within the confirmed service scope, is a separate clinical decision.

Counselling and talking therapies: support from an appropriately qualified therapist. First Reach’s therapy arrangements are not yet confirmed. The independent services on our support page can be contacted directly.

Dispensing: a dispensing pharmacy carries out its own checks before supplying a medicine. Our dispensing pharmacy is Inspire Pharmacy — Ibstock, operated by Jayty Ltd. Smiths Medical Group Ltd is responsible for clinical care. View provider details and CQC/GPhC registrations. Individual clinician profiles will be published before booking opens.

A careful
assessment.

A medicines assessment needs more than an online questionnaire. Relevant information includes your medical history, current and recent medicines, allergies, previous care, alcohol or substance use, and risks affecting your safety.

A clinician may need to verify information with clinical records, your GP or usual prescriber, and may need an examination or further assessment before deciding. Our data and safety checks page explains Stripe Identity and permission-based ORB record access. The full privacy notice and operational assessment pathway are being finalised before bookings open.

An appointment does not guarantee treatment or a prescription.

Online care
and its limits.

Video consultations are the planned focus. A quiet, private space, a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone can help you prepare.

Online assessment is not suitable for every concern. Some people need face-to-face assessment or another service. In-person availability and the clinic address remain unconfirmed; no appointments can currently be reserved.

BEFORE BOOKING OPENS

Clear information before you commit.

Consultation duration, initial and follow-up fees, any separate therapy or medicine costs, and cancellation and refund terms must be confirmed before payment or booking is available.

Follow-up
and safer next steps.

Care may involve review appointments, monitoring or support from another service. Smiths Medical Group Ltd is responsible for clinical follow-up. Review schedules, patient contact arrangements and coordination with a GP or usual prescriber are being finalised.

Prescribers and dispensing pharmacists make separate professional decisions. A prescription does not oblige a pharmacist to supply a medicine if there are unresolved safety or legal concerns.

If prescribing is unsafe or there is not enough reliable information to make a safe decision, a prescription should not be issued. Further assessment or another care pathway may be needed. The clinic’s specific process will be published once approved by its clinical lead. This includes how decisions are explained, how further care is arranged and how any payment is handled under the agreed terms.

Independent helplines and therapy can complement medical care, but do not replace clinical assessment or supervised withdrawal support.
